Susan Sleeping draws parallels between human sleep and the dormant states of computers and televisions. Screensavers serve as metaphors for an in-between state, active yet idle, mirroring how we are unconscious yet alive during sleep. The work reflects on humans as counterparts to computers, where moments of digital inactivity reflect our own periods of rest.
